Prepare Your Visit

  • Choose your boarding time: If you’re taking the bus, make sure you choose your boarding time ahead of time for when you want to leave London. It will take about two hours to get into the studio.
  • Expect to wait for at least 15 to 30 minutes unless you have purchased skip-the-line tour tickets. Even waiting may be entertaining, because the Cupboard Under the Stairs is located right next to the line.

The nearest railway station to the Studio Tour is Watford Junction, which has direct connections from both London Euston (20-minute ride) and Birmingham New Street (1-hour journey).

From London Euston, further non-direct rail routes are available.

Mullany’s Coaches runs regular shuttle buses from Watford Junction to the Studio Tour, with a journey time of roughly 15 minutes. From 9.20 a.m., buses run every 20 minutes (with additional services available from 8.15 am when the first tour is at 9 am).
